MA in International Economy and Business

The MA program in International Economy and Business aims to train students who wish to become highly qualified specialists in international business relations and business diplomacy, have good communication skills and are fluent in more foreign languages. In our MA program we have the facilities necessary to help students achieve this objective, so that they graduate with an internationally accepted diploma in economics. In line with the college's practice in postgraduate education, this MA program also combines high level theoretical and practical training.

Besides having an excellent KSBS faculty to teach them, our students are advantaged in that the Institute for World Economics at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences is also involved in their training program. The cooperation between the college and the research institute entails that our students are taught by the best professionals in world economy processes, and they are given the possibility to join the research projects initiated by IWE. The specialized study tracks of the MA program in International Economy and Business include financial policy, development policy, international communication, and EU studies. Students in these tracks can deepen their knowledge in particular fields that are in line with current trends in world economy. Also, the possibility of choosing a study track means that students can extend their knowledge in that very field they wish to work in later. Besides their high quality education, it is also a great advantage to our students that when they graduate, they have already had several months of active practice, and they also have the possibility to do some courses in a foreign school within the framework of the EU's exchange programs.

Our students' academic development is fostered not only by the help our faculty give them with their papers written for the Student Research Conference and Contest (TDK) but also by their participation and presentations in professional conferences and papers written for our business publications.
